While the level of questioning has not reached outrage quite yet (though it certainly should) more in the media are now asking why the Obama administration – including the president himself, repeatedly told a tale so easily proven false regarding the fatal attacks against Americans in the Middle East.

For nine days, the Obama administration made a case that virtually everyone understood was untrue: that the killing of our ambassador and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya, was a random, spontaneous act of individuals upset about an online video—an unpredictable attack on a well-protected compound that had nothing do to with the eleventh anniversary of 9/11.
Truth is such a rare commodity today.

Arthur, I feel the answer lies in one word. Arrogance. The past several administrations in the US, the unaccountable EU, national puppet governments ( except interestingly Polish, conveniently murdered ) Well they all display this trait. To see Van Rumpey the EU banker “president” whilst harangued by the like of Nigel Farage in Brussels is an eye opener. A stoney faced technocrat. Bush was a wooden actor, Obama rather better at that craft.
No western politician, with the exception of Mr Paul, gives any indication to folk of an honest and trustworthy stance on issues. Still the myopic, welfare nipple mad masses vote for more. I frankly think Libertarian and self reliance scares the bloody lot of them to death.
